I have received via the CSA nada, zip, zilch, zero, the inside of a Polo mint!

It all started way back in the good old days of 1998 when I had faith, innocence and trust that a Government agency would "do right" by the kids and collect child maintenance from their Father, who basically was refusing to support them. 10 years later and a divorce that lasted 8 years (!!!!) I have received via the CSA nada, zip, zilch, zero, the inside of a Polo mint. Oh, on second thoughts, that's not strictly true; there have been two massive payments for "inconvenience" totalling £200.

After voluntarily paying by DEO for 13 years i have again had a reassessment at nil.

After voluntarily paying by DEO for 13 years i have again had a reassessment at nil.  I had one of these in March 2008 but it was appealed against by the PWC and after a few months the CSA then reassessed again and said the payments would be £240 per month.

Not a man I am a number (leigh).

A quick overview. a crude but simplyfied version of my CSA and history.

Ex slept with a mate 10yrs ago while I was asleep!

We split up.

She turned out pregnant!

I had what I think now to be a nervous breakdown at 21 yrs old, I went missing for days just walking etc. the world had gone mental not knowing who's the baby was and knowing me and my ex were over.

Hi, I am a 'NRPP' and I'd like to share my story and offer my support in your fight for a fairer CSA for all.

My only 'crime' for being penalised by the csa is that I fell in love and married a 'nrp'!  We married 4 years ago and at that time my husband who is on CS1 was paying £80 per month for his daughter (thier 24 year marriage had ended 3 yrs previously when his wife kicked him out after she was caught having an affair with his best friend.. whom she later married and is in the process of now divorcing after having yet another affair!!).

I’m writing this letter to you as a last desperate attempt to expose a sham that is destroying people’s lives under the guise of eliminating child poverty in the hope that you can stop what’s happening to me happening to others.

Let me try and explain. My Daughter was born in 1984, she was my first born and it was the best day of my life, the joy I felt was immense to say the least. There were problems in that she was premature (just 4lbs.) and didn’t like food, anyway after about a month she had gained enough weight to be allowed home, it was a constant battle to get her to accept food and could take several hours just to get her to take a few ounces of milk, many a nights sleep went out the window, but that was a small price to pay.

Child Support Agency and Government stealing from disabled children!

I am a NRPP and have two children.  One who has ADHD and the other is severely disabled due to vaccinations, both to my ex husband, who couldn't cope and got out. He, fiddling the system was required by the CSA to pay me £2.50 per week. As you can imagine life is hard, looking after 2 special needs kids.  Not everything is monetary.  The fact I couldn't work as getting child care was impossible or at best 4 x the amount for normal child care, being up 20+ hours a day dealing with children that don't sleep, constantly having to be on my toes watching out for them.

I registered my daughters case with the C.S.A three times before they actually registered it themselves. Therefore my girl lost out on nearly a years payment.

Her case has been written off three times, closed once because of human error and twice to computer error.

It has taken the CSA 2 yrs to work out how much my husband should pay his ex!

He was taken to court apparently owing 5k in arrears due to lack of info from the CSA about how and where to pay. We were told by a rep at the court that we would be given a face to face interview with an agent so they could review his case. Three weeks later we are still waiting to hear from them and have been threatened twice with court action.
