CSA Claim I have a child that I don't!!: Hi i wonder if someone could help me my husband was contacted last july by the CSA saying someone had put a claim in for a child that was born in 2001. He doesnt recognise the womans name at all so phoned up and disputed it they said he could take a DNA test he agreed and asked for the relevant forms to be sent through.
Variation And Criminal Compliance: Does anyone have any experience in the above? I have two young kids and waited for 3 years to seek some money from my ex hubby. After this period I gave up. I tried to give him the opporunity to be fair. We lived very well both with good jobs. It was only fair for him to continue to support his kids after he ran off, I went to the CSA in the end. But he told them he earnt £120 per week which is about 1% of what he earns.

I cannot shake off the CSA after 16 years!: Hi I'm writing having seen the Oneshow report, only today I have written to my MP out of despair, as I cannot shake off the CSA after 16years!
According to the CSA, I slept with a woman and had a child back in 1996-7: I do not remember the woman and can't say for sure that I did or did not sleep with her.
I am being hounded by phone calls from the CSA: They were requested to make all communications in writing, at the outset several years ago and more recently.....
I am being told that I have arrears of £9000. I am telling them that they have not taken facts into the assesment like having a son with my partner, fortnightly contact, housing costs and wages changes!

I split from my Ex over 4 years ago now and she chose to use the CSA for payments.I thought it was a bit over the top as I was more than willing to pay my way but thats how it was so I just got on with it.
A couple of years ago I contacted CSA in the August as they had not take a payment for that month.I was told on the phone that id not paid anything since the January!
The standing order had stopped and I had not realised until August.I was an idiot for not noticing but in my defence I was really going through the mill with my ex going wild with my kids tagging along (dragged in pubs til mad hours etc).
My head really wasnt right.
I did not receive a single letter to tell me that the payments had not been received although the CSA now claim they sent some out at the time.
My payment at the time was 174 pounds which was about to change to 160 due to my job change and slightly less pay.
I agreed to continue to pay 174 pounds giving the CSA 14 pounds each month of the arrears.
Initially it wasnt a problem with the CSA. I explained its all I could afford and there didnt seem to be any problems.
After a few months had passed I got a new schedule through the post with mad sums of money on it which I just would never had been able to afford.
I phoned them, emailed them,spoke to someone different each time and having to explain it all over and over.Nobody was listening.
This has gone on for about a year and a half and I kept paying the 174 pounds.
Yesterday a new schedule came through yet again only this time its a deduction from earnings.
300 pounds per month instead of the 174...
I simply cant afford to give any more than I do and explained this tonight 4 times with 4 different CSA people.I was just being passed about and treated like a total idiot.
I was promised a phone call before close of business and as per normal (its happened lots of times before) it never came.
I was told to cancel the standing order which comes out on Friday which the bank cant do with just 2 days notice.
I fear all the extra money they will take over 26 weeks is enough for me to give up my flat.I only just manage to keep living now and the flat was for my children.Ive done all thats been asked and far far more over the last 4 years but now I feel utterly worthless. The CSA are about to make my relationship with my children worse .If I have to move back to my parents just to pay the CSA their money then it will spiral out of control.My parents dont have space for my children to sleep , plus the fact its not fair on my parents anyway.Then, the CSA will want more money because my children wont be sleeping overnight.
Are the CSA really there for my Children? I will take some convincing. I am paying arrears.Maybe not quickly and it may take a little while at my pace but its all I can afford.
What can I do? Seriously stressed and my children know this.Spent all tonight explaining its not their fault.
